I am thrilled to say that my wonderful Mother booked her ticket to come and visit us! She will be arriving in early March and I could not be happier! It will be SUCH a huge help and comfort to have her here when our sweet baby girl arrives and for the weeks before and after.
When we were driving back from our kangaroo experience, Claire asked: "How come we are only going to live here for 3 years? Why can't we live here for as long as we want until we want to move again?" We explained about Bryan's job and the timeframe. We both thought that was very interesting that she has caught on to that (she clearly does not miss a thing!) and also a positive sign that she is thinking that way, too. Both Claire and Will seem to be happy and adjusting well, at this point, which makes us happy and more relaxed.
